the world according to irving

Fri Jan 3, 2003, 5:21 PM
wow, just finnished reading "the ciderhouse rules" and "the world according to garp" and i can't stop thinking about them. irving writes an amazing plot and cast that haunts you long after you've set the book down. pretty funny stuff, too...roberta muldoon (formerly robert muldoon, tightback for the phillidelphia eagles) and michael milton who lost more than his dignity in an episode that included a blowjob and a car crash. wow....i love writers who make you think....long after you've finnished the book.

I completly forget about this post ;) I was browsing through the books forum and I find it, and I saw that I posted it  whatever I didn't read "the ciderhouse rules" but Garp is really amazing. The scene with blowjob left me with a huge :jawdrop: just like the one when Garp dies. This book really makes you think.
